About SEBAS
Independent expertise. International perspective.
SEBAS AB is a Sweden-based international consulting company specializing in strategic development, results-based management, facilitation, and organizational development.
A specialized consultancy for development work
Founded in Stockholm in 2007, SEBAS supports organizations, institutions, and development partners in planning, implementing, following up, and improving development initiatives.
Our work sits where strategy meets practice: helping teams agree on what they want to achieve, structure how they will get there, and learn from what happens along the way. We work with structured methodologies such as the Logical Framework Approach and Results-Based Management, and always adapt them to the people and context involved.
SEBAS is deliberately small and independent. Clients work directly with an experienced consultant, not with a layered project organization.

Our perspective
What makes development work hold up over time
- 01
Clear and realistic objectives
Goals that are specific enough to guide decisions, and honest about what is achievable within the resources and time available.
- 02
Participation and ownership
Plans developed together with those who will carry them out are more likely to be used, adapted, and sustained.
- 03
Context-sensitive approaches
Methods are tools, not templates. Each process is shaped by the institutional, cultural, and political setting.
- 04
Organizational learning
Monitoring and evaluation are most valuable when they help people reflect and adjust, not only report.
- 05
Sustainable processes
We aim to leave organizations with stronger capacity of their own, rather than dependence on external support.
- 06
Practical, results-oriented methods
Frameworks should make work clearer and easier to manage, never add bureaucracy for its own sake.
How we work
Close collaboration, structured process
Assignments typically begin with a conversation about the situation, the people involved, and what a good result would look like. From there we propose a process — a workshop series, a planning or evaluation framework, advisory support over time, or a combination.
We work in English, Swedish, and Spanish, on site or remotely, and adapt the format to the organization rather than the other way around.
